September book giveaway: Floret Farm's Cut Flower Garden
Welcome Lovelies,
Thanks to Mama the Fox for putting together this Glam and Glits Giveaway Hop. Here at Garden, Books, and Romance we're excited to be giving away an ebook copy of one of our favorite gardening books by Erin Benzakein, Julie Chai, Michele M. Waite Floret Farm's Cut Flower Garden: Grow, Harvest, and Arrange Stunning Seasonal Blooms (Gardening Book for Beginners, Floral Design and Flower Arranging Book).
At this time of year at the end of summer and right before autumn, we're planting our seed trays to winterize a select few plants in the garden.
For 2022, we've begun planting. As of today, we've started five types of snapdragons, lavender, jewel-tone stock, foxglove AND hollyhocks (both seed trays and hydroponically), Ammi Dara, Rubeckia, Chinese Forget Me-Not, and Scabiosa (pincushions). Stay tuned for news about how the planting goes in October when we take the seedlings from the indoor nursery outside.
To see the results, check back since I'll post more photos and details about the progress of these seedlings.

ReplyDeleteIt is a toss up here between glads a dahlias. I grow both but dahlias the most but do not have to dig up gladiolus each year so have more of them in my gardens.
ReplyDeleteI usually say wildflowers because I love a variety of beautiful flowers together.
ReplyDeleteGardenias. Beautiful and fragrant.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite flower is a Stargazer Lily
