Theme: Holiday Memories
How many times do we think about when we were young(er)? If you're like me, it happens more often around the holidays.
In Miami when I was eight and coming home from church on Christmas Eve, it was actually cold. Unusual indeed! Getting out of the car, my brother and I looked up. The stars were brilliant
in the night sky.
It felt so magical.
I'll always believe that's what the spirit of Christmas is: connection to our family, the world,
and something much, much larger!
In your favorite of favorite memories, where were you? What made it so precious?
Thanks for stopping by and take care of yourself.
Kindest regards, Casey Gardner

My favorite memories of the holidays are from when I was little and all of the great grandparents and grandparents were still here. Each side of the family had different traditions and it was so exciting and magical. We would also open gifts late into the evening after dinner and various stops to visit. It always began with new Xmas pajamas. I was too young but I wish I had learned more about the traditions, blessings and such as they are beautiful memories but faded ones.
