Benedict Cumberbatch and a marvelous book for the whole family.
In need of a book suggestion? You've come to the right place.
This week I've got a great read and if you're into audio books, then be prepared to be wowed!
The Order of Time by Carlo Rovelli is simply marvelous. Bite-sized physics lessons that are not only easily digested but memorable. So much so you'll rattle off tidbits and amaze your friends, family, strangers with your newfound knowledge.
This little gem is the second book I've had the pleasure to read from Carlo Rovelli. I learned of Mr. Rovelli on a Public Radio interview last month and immediately put both of his books on hold at the local Knox County Library.
Now that I'm quarantined in the eastern side of Tennessee, just outside the Smokies, I found it utterly astounding that time actually speeds up depending upon whether one lives in higher elevations and that time slows for those folks at sea level. A phenomenon called gravitational time dilation. Who doesn't want to casually toss out such jaw-dropping terms while catching up during Covid-19. It's been a while since reading a book made me feel like my brain was in a state of expansion.
Big bonus: the Audible version is read by none other than Benedict Cumberbatch. What a duo when it comes to a lively book with mind-blowing content and what a voice to lay it all out there.
Whether you're out in the garden or inside kicking back, The Order of Time is well worth your time.
Cheers!
